Very very difficult. I hope she gets help from Victim Support as well.

Your nephew should listen, not press her to talk and expect her to be on a roller coaster of emotions for the next few months.

He should help her to not feel in any way guilty - all rape victims do - and most of all not question anything she says.

It is going to be so hard for both of them and she's not going to get over it overnight. Victim Support can help your nephew too, by the way.
Hmmm, she will need your support as she wont get much from victim support.
From someone i knows experience they do get a little annoying after a while by some of the stuff they say.
I think you should pop round as much as you can and support her too. She wont be in any state for talking to her boyfriend properly yet. Try to have a word with him seperately also and tell him not to question her about the ordeal.
I dont know if they live on their own or not, but if they do, it might be an idea to stay with her for a couple of weeks if its possible.
Like Ethel says above, victim support are there for both of them though , and it will affect both of them , no matter what he says...
She will feel dirty, worthless, scared, as if it`s "her fault" just to name a few of the feelings she may have. It`s also possible that she may not want any man near her, not even her boyfriend. There`s support avaiable nowadays I hope she accepts it.
