Do you think Scotland was chosen specifically because it is the nationality of the new British Prime Minister?

I'd rather suspect someone due to their suspicious behaviour rather that the length of their beard.
now you are ridiculing me because i don't know who is who, whoever wants to kill me and my family, i hate them, end of
I'm not ridiculing you - I just think some people, especially on AB, need to calm down and stop pointing fingers at anyone whose looks or beliefs are a little different.
No I disagree, in world war two they wanted people to be on the look out for German spies, was that wrong? I prefer to be suspicious of anyone i don't feel like trusting. As we are in Britain i am allowed to do that.
Well, that's a bit different though isn't it? The British were at war with Germany, we are certainly not at war with Islam. Terrorism, yes, Muslims, no. There is a massive Asian community in the UK (not all of them are Islamic) and to say that we should be suspicious of all of them is just nonsense.
I don't mind it sounding nonsense, i do know as i said, that alot of the recruiting is done in those communities, so i shall remain suspicious, how many people were shocked when they arrested those lads from Bradford?
and it wasn't different back in World war two, it was just the same, people protected their own and were proud to do it.
Well said dot.

Anywho!!!!!!
Soooooooo, not all Muslims are terrorists - fair enough and of course absolutely correct.

But, and this is very important, ALL the terrorism we are currently facing is perpetrated by Muslims.
just to remind everyone that Bliar was born and educated in Edinburgh
dot................. i agree with a lot with what you say?
I don't think it will come as any suprise to anyone, but I also agree 100% with dot.

Since the terrorists who are active in the UK are of the Muslim faith, and the fact that they do not wear any uniform etc and they are all of Asian descent, is it not common sense that we should suspect anyone fitting the present criteria of a terrorist?

If for instant there was a serial killer loose in one's community and the Police knew he had Ginger hair, would one not be wary of anyone with ginger hair if one was to meet up with a person fitting this rather vague discription?

Regarding mistrust shown to Muslims, is it any wonder? On numourous occasions that I have witnessed so called moderate Muslims interviewed on TV or radio, they comeover very aggressive, and commanding, and forever speaking over the interviewer.

Please stop arguing with Corbylunatic, He KNOWS what the ''Vast Majority'' {his words} of Muslims think. This must be unique {wrong, Tony Blair does too}.
dot and oldgit. I agree with you both 100%.
I imagine, although I can not be sure, Glasgow Airport was in a slightly more relaxed state of security than the other big ones. And also, when it kicks off in London, the Police from many a neighbouring force, and MI5 are very close by to assist.

Glasgow, is a little more remote for national assistance.

Also, (though this may need clarifying) "cross-border" powers may not be applicable for mutual aid. Therefore the Met, for example, may be powerless in various aspects involving the investigation.

This may have all changed under Prevention of Terrism Act, but I can not be bothered to read the small print at this specific time. Sorry!
i agree with what flip flop said!
The threat is here and is very real and i am sick of people saying its not all muslims! Of course it s not , but the ones threatening the safety of our families and our way of life, are!!!!!!! Pure and simple! No getting away from that fact!
I heard that the reason Glasgow Airport was targeted was the fact that one can drive right up to the entrance, that is why they where also concerns shown regarding Liverpool and Luton.

But I persume that after this attack, measures will be brought in to correct this potential breach in Airport security.
brionon can you point out where I said "I know what the vast majority of Muslims think?"

I see you have now resorted to making fun of ma screen name which is not very mature is it?

What baffles me is that Corbyloon is been questioned how he can know what ALL Muslims think, but others seem not to think twice when treating ALL Muslims as potential terrorists.
