Think the villages are Whiston, Canklow, and Catcliffe and Treeton!
Meant to add that latest reports are saying that the dam appears to more stable now as the weather is improving slightly!! What a horrendous situation for people to find themselves in!
yes libertie it's dreadful....
you can listen to the last bbc sheffield news bulletin here

grrr, can't get anything to post - apologies if this appears about 6 times!

Thanks,
I used to go out with a girl in North Anston and was worried that she might be affected

In fact it was so long ago, (just before the 1st gulf War) that I forgot that she lived in South Anston

That's so sweet john, hope your friend is ok :)
I live in Sheffield and although I haven't been directly affected by the floods there are diversions all over the place and mud and sludge everywhere.

My sister's friend moved house a few months ago and the house she used to live in was shown on the news with water up to the downstairs windows (lucky escape for her but not for the new owners). My sister and her friend are on holiday in France at the moment and have been watching it on Sky news. They can't believe what has happened.
Minter you are well out of order, just as you were last night, picking on peoples' REAL-LIFE issues on here as you did.

I thought you were a public-school (Haberdashers) guy, but I think you are more likely a turd.

You are an AB stooge, are you not ?

Have a good evening down at the imaginary Lodge.

Keep them coming Minter, in the public school tradition, of which you unfortunately know nothing.

Sad git, but hugely offensive git.
I'm in North Anston and everything is OK here!
