Just read that a 22 year old man died after marathon. I am not surprised, St johns treated 5000, 75 admitted to hospital. What a waste of resources.
We are not designed to run that is why we invented bows and arrows , spears and guns.
Akin to suicide I'd say.

But surely through our natural selection (whether evolutionary or God Given) we have "invented" the Olympic Games and Marathons through our own expressive development. Therefore, running is just as akin to nature as bows and arrows.

Filosofy is not your strong point I am guessing.

Neither is your spelling.
If you were in danger of being hit by a bus, firing your bow and arrow at it may not be very effective.
Question Author
what on earth are you doing running down the road?
I really, really REALLY hope you realised FILOSOFY was in fact irony.

Please tell me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Walking to the other side, crossing it.

Don't think you have quite got the hang of being ironical joe. Keep trying.
god you lot are funny!

Hmmm, no more a waste of resources than all those treated in road traffic accidents minute after minute.

"dont think you have quite got the hand of being ironical Joe."

Unwittingly it seems you have though!

I phink that Joe was quite phunny!
What about all the money raised by these people for the help of the resources? They are doing what they think is best hoping in many cases to give a little something back for the help that they have had. It's very tragic about the poor lad and my sympathies are with his family. Running is more of a natural resource then the material things that you have mentioned.
phabulously phunny !
Question Author
running is not a natural resource spurslady.
It's something I'm sure early man had to do to get away from predators and such. If running isn't natural I would hate to think what your definition of natural is.

So at the end of the day you are condemning all those 1000's of people that get off their backsides and try to help others? Shows why society is going to pot.
