have to be before you'd give up? Another Question has prompted me to wonder why, if the governement want people to stop smoking, don''t they just make the cost prohibitive instead of just tinkering round the edges, I mean we must be down to the hard core addicts now!

4 get just summed that up, same as with drink they warn you about the dangers i.e liver and so forth AA meeting but they still sell it. It sall money for them!
Problem is in Duty free places they cost 2.70 euro which is about 2 pound!

That cant be right, thats 220 fags a day..so if your awake roughly 16 hours a day thats nearly 14 fags an hour!!!!

I think this government only has one policy for dealing with things that are bad: smoking drinking, traffic congestion etc and that is to make it really expensive, genius! We'll still be drinking, smoking and driving but be skint!
