I think it's very good and fitting, do you think they will do one of Blair ?
I thought you had to be dead to be commemorated in the house of commons in that way.

Did they get tired of waiting?
As Maggi said she would have preferred it in Iron (the Iron Lady), but Bronze is OK but she hopes this time it retains it's head (seeing that the last one was knocked off).

With this in mind perhaps if they did do one of Blair, then it might give someone a chance to knock that silly grin off his face.
........or give him two faces!
A fitting tribute to our greatest peace time Leader.

The Thatcher haters will be along soon MrsT, go easy on them, they know not what they do!
Very apt Maggie!

Now if there ever was one erected of Blair, I would hope it would be made of plasticine, so that it would soon wilt, along with most of his ideas.
I think Maggie's statue should be errected in Brussels, after all she got the single European act through parliament! Quite an achievement!
Bronze can be melted or broken off with a hammer and chisel .... but lets hope it never happens. It would be a shame to see another Thatcher statue decapitated especially since she seems so attached to it.
