My friends and i were having rather a heated debate last night as we could not settle on what actions are considered being unfaithful to a partner. It was almost decided that actually sleeping with the person concerned was the main thing, but I personally feel even being remotely intimate (kissing etc) behind a spouses back is just the same....what do you guys think - no matter what the person is doing with the other its still not being truthful to partner..

Hiya RQ babes, I agree with you...an action which has any sign of intimacy behind the other person's back is cheating as far as i am concerned and it really bugs me that people do it at all.
But dont start me ranting about cheating or i'll not stop!!!! lol

xx
I'd say anything you'd be uncomfortable telling your partner about (which takes into account the diferent views people have about this) as there are so many different degrees of what could happen from a drunken fumble to a passionate affair where love is involved.
I totally agree with the above. I'd go ballistic if my partner were kissing someone else. How would you feel if you saw yourt girlfriend doing that and how would she feel if she saw you snogging someone else's face off.....

I've never done it and I fell out with my best mate of 20 years because she kept doing it behind her boyfriend's back... that's how much I'm against it.
i agree but would add "anything you would mind your partner doing with someone else"
You shouldn't do anything when they are not there that you wouldn't do in front of them
Surely there should be alot more communication between people so that if there was any situation where a partner was noit 10% committed they could discuss it before gong down the cheating route just to gwet what they are not getting from their relationship
on reflection 10% committed is what my siamese fighter fish is to me, maybe 100% committed is a better rate. lol
i agree with you as well,kissing is a form of being unfaithful your doing it behind your partners back which is wrong
My thoery in this matter is, I wouldnt do anything to my partner what I wouldnt want him to do to me, ITS LIKE THE BOOT BEING ON THE OTHER FOOT!! you can go to the local shop or supermarket these days and if you want to be unfaithfull. I would be devastated even to think that my partner was even contemplating being unfaithfull.
Trust is a huge part of my relationship, so therefore i totally agree with you roughquest, its still a form of cheating {ie a kiss behind your partners back}
According to ex President Jimmy Carter, he was in office at the time, just thinking about it constituted being unfaithful.
but surely you are only being unfaithful if you get caught
Impure thoughs - not bothered
Impure deeds- nail their wobbly bits to the mast.
