seem to remember of one on a ba flight and the place of birth was given as being on board the aircraft and the co-ordinates of the position of the plane at the time.any would take the same citizenship of the parent i'd guess.
As I understand it, for births aboard ships or aircraft, the baby will be 'registered' according to the nationality of the shipping-company or airline as well as according to the nationality of the parents. He/she would, in other words, have dual nationality. Different countries doubtless have different rules, but the child may technically be entitled to two passports.
The answer is complex and depends on a variety of factors. Discussed in more detail here.
I was born aboard an aircraft. I now belong to the airline company. :(
