Why do people get so annoyed?

Whilst I can rejoice that people on here are so very passionate about their animals it does annoy me when they 'lay into' people who ask questions! For example, someone asked about cutting cats claws, they mainly got sensible honest answers, mine being one of them, but one person had to berate them for taking on a pet without knowing anything about them, do people never stop to think before having ago? I recently took on my first cat after 30 years of owning dogs, this kitty was an emergency rescue and I too was suprised to find out I couldn't cut her claws! Should I have left her in an abusive home because I was not aware of every aspect of cat ownership? Because of questions I have asked on here I am the owner of a happy, well cared for cat and am grateful for all the advice I have recieved. I also know that some questions on here deserve the answers that they get: Letting the gerbils run free!!! But have a heart, people just want some advice! One more, some one wanted abit of sympathy for having to re-home her puppy, she was obviously unhappy about this, how was she to know it would cause problems with her child? As far as I can see she did the right thing and rehomed the pup....would you rather she be asking for advice on how to treat a dog bite?
Rant over.......I'm off to parenting to see if anyone wishes to adopt my 14 year old son......

All abusive answers constructively recieved.

Agreed

With regard to the adoption or your 14 year old son, this is VERY VERY WRONG, as they have to be kept in pairs, I have a 14 year old daughter, who I could give you, so that you are doing the right thing!!!!

Is she house trained? And does she cut her own nails?
lol @ horsestache!!!!
Yes, she does cut her own nails and leave the clippings all over the bedroom floor, Why do you think we have a dog?? Nail clippings are a very good source of calcium!!
I do wish people would think of the consequences before putting their 14 year olds up for adoption!!!
yeah yeah!
Serves you right for getting a 'dog substitute'.
