Not likely. If anyone found out and made it public, they'd be moved again pretty sharpish. Unfortunately, they'll get protection for the rest of their lives and will be given as many new identities as necessary.

i have read that denise bulger little jamies mam has conections all over who keep her upto date on there wereabouts she acctually came face to face with one of them but froze and could do or say nothing she was so shocked,i also read that if they are going to get married the must tell there partners who they are that would be enough for me i be off, i was allways of the mind that this pair knew the right from wrong and should have went staraght to jail when old enough to serve longer.

robert thompson is apparantly living with his gay lover...dont know where though...and like maxine carr they will get every privelige(spell check!) possible and live the life of riley while the victims families go through hell every day. This country and its law system makes me sick. Rant over!! lol

I have to agree with you wonderwoman. The judgements handed out in the UK are sometimes unbelievable. They protect those who commit the most vile crimes, while walking all over the feelings and lives of the innocent and their families. I think it is totally wrong that money should be spent protecting murderers when they are released from jail. They should have to fend for themselves or better yet, ... do not let them out in the first place! I know this sounds harsh in the cases where the murders were committed by children, but in some cases I think there is justification in keeping them locked up for life. The victims' families serve a life sentence and get little or no support in facing the rest of their lives!

The word "unfortunately" in scoobydooby's first answer was incorrect. I am happy to pay my share of taxes to protect them from moronic violent vigilantes and to ensure that they are safe from being hounded, harassed or lynched. And I am proud to be living in a humane society in which such a system of protection exists, rather thanm leaving them to the mercies of an unrestrained or unregulated tabloid press and accompanying public hysteria from the lower masses of the unregurgitated proletariat.

i think i will have to agree to disagree with you there. those two boys knew fine well what they were doing, but what angers people is that they are given the life of luxury both in and out of jail, and we pay for it!! maybe spare a thought for the victims families instead of protecting these criminals??

If you disagree with me, that is your opinion. but there are only 4 possibilities:

1. keep them in prison for the whole of their lives, and protect them from violent attcks or form being murdered by other prisoners

2. release them from prison, and protect them from violent attacks from vigilante attackers

3. keep them in prison and run the risk that they will be attacked or murdered

4. let them live in the community and run the risk that they will be attcked or murdered

I prefer 1 or 2. If you prefer 3 or 4, what then? Do you arrest and try the people who kill or attack them? Or do you just let those attackers get away with it scot-free?
