A good article, We flew Ryanair last July, Stanstead to the City of Derry, no problems whatsoever, there's no seat allocation, but everyone gets a seat, and you sit with the person your with, I'd use them again.
Went from Birmingham to Dublin , would use them again.
Always use low cost , no frills for flights within the UK.
A guy sitting at an airport bar noticed a beautiful woman sitting next to him. He thought to himself, "Wow, she's so gorgeous she must be a Flight attendant; but which airline does she work for?"
Hoping to pick her up, he leaned towards her and said, "Love to fly and it shows?" She gave him a blank stare and he immediately thought to himself, "Oops, she doesn't work for Delta."
A few seconds later, another slogan popped into his head. He leaned towards her again, "Something special in the air?" She gave him the same look. He mentally kicked himself, and scratched American Airlines off the list. Next he tried "I would really love to fly your friendly skies?" This time the woman barked back at him "Jesus Christ, what the f*** do you want?"
The man smiled, then slumped back in his chair, and said... "Ahhh, RyanAir."

lmao billy :oD!!!

My wife and I flew with Ryanair from Liverpool to Murcia last December for a three week holiday returning in January. You get what you pay for basically.....we only paid 98 return for the two seats so were not expecting any extras, but the airline gave VFM (Value For Money) in my book and we would definately fly with them again. One slight complaint though, the weight allowance for hold luggage was only 15Kg each, although you could take 10Kg as hand luggage.

We have also like rickshaw flown to Murcia nice and cheap cos we've bought out there. However we are going in a few weeks and although we tried to book ages in advance their prices have shot up.We chose that region purposely because of the convenient flights for family from Ryanair. However we got fab prices from Jet.2.com and they fly from Edinburgh.

We flew to Milan with Ryanair. No probs delays either time.

Flew Ryanair to Knock. No problems with it other than the plane was absolutely filthy.
check out the news today!!! Ryanair have landed a plane on the wrong runway!!!! They landed 5 miles from the commercial airport and ended up on an Army runway instead!! Oooops!! doesn't fill you with confidence!!! lol

I have been using Ryanair several times to fly London - Baden-Baden.

No problems so far.

jules - I wouldnt have noticed cos I'm just always glad to land:) It doesnt fill you with confidence though but there surely must have been a reason for it - like some other plane had wrongly landed on their runway and there was a knock on effect:)

We've used Ryanair to travel to Ireland without any problems whatsoever.
No, sorry drisgirl, it WAS just a mistake!!!! I'm like you, just glad to come down, safely. Thats my phobia!
lets be fair to Ryanair, it was an Airjet plane and pilot, admittedly under contract, but still-----------------.

39 passengers took off from Liverpool bound for Derry & ended up at Ballykelly, 5 miles away.

Every day, many Ryanair flights take off with passengers bound for Frankfurt, and they end up at Hahn, more than 100km away.

why the fuss?

hardly a fuss!!! tongue in cheek more that anything!

so long as they land safely, i wouldn't care if i was 5 miles away. It just made me smile when i read the question having just heard the news!
