What poll?

It all depends on what folk mean by "a closer relationship".  As long as it doesn't mean getting controlled, and instead revolves around the EU becoming less intransigent and more willing to cooperate, then a high percentage in favour would be expected. But we all know that's not the reality when dealing with the EU elite, don't we.

I'm fairly certain the UK population as a whole isn't so foolish as to wish we hadn't left, or worse consider rejoining. It's not as if it's private club for masochists to go searching for a Commission to dictate to them.

Lets hope that when the Labour Govt come into power next year they will work towards closer links on trade ,security and defence.... Or even re-joining the EU...

Gulliver.  I assume that because of your love for the EU you must reside in a country that is currently a member of the EU (please feel free to correct me if I am wrong). That being the case why don't you just get on with your own life in the land of freedom and plenty and allow us who live in the UK to do what we think is best for our country and citizens.

Not voters, people who were polled.

This survey also asked voters about the decision to leave .

49%  said it was wrong to leave, 36% said it was right to leave while 15% did not know . Looks like re-joining is becoming more favourable .As a famous PM said  "Things can only get better"

This is a thread of desperation.  :o)

Britain could get fast tracked into re-joining the EU over other Countries who are still waiting to join.....because of it's recent Membership and most of the research work is on file . Britain could be parachuted back in  quite rapidly.
