Clue in the article.

First word (if you're struggling)

I guess you mean Spain?

Are you taking lessons from andy hughes?

To be fair to ATHEIST, "this country" could have meant the UK.

Question Author

No it couldn't.

The EUSSR won't like that, their slave countries are meant to be nasty to us to punish us for leaving. Spain is presumably happy to have us there spending dosh.

Well by "this" Roy was referring to the country he was talking about in his link. So it was pretty clear to me. Both athiest and corby are known contrarians who take every chance to nitpick.

The restriction works against Spain’s interests, Spanish Tourism Secretary Fernando Valdés said.

“Unfortunately, [the rule] is not something Spain has established by itself or can get rid of,” he told the i newspaper.

EU subjugation...tell me it's not.

It could be good news for people like me (second home in  France), if the EU agree to it. France might consider doing the same. Trouble is, lots of other countries might push for favour, and I don't see the EU being keen on that. They're just like us in that they don't want all and sundry being allowed to live in the EU.

That conflicts with recent news reports that Spain and France want to discourage British people from visiting.

they advertise on TV all the time barry, I don't think that's the case.

A few individual resorts have expressed a desire for less British, but if what they offer is appealing to young British drinkers then that's what they're going to get.

"Trouble is, lots of other countries might push for favour, and I don't see the EU being keen on that."

nope, what the eureich doesnt like or wont tolerate is other countries (whilst they still allow them to exist as such) thinking for themselves and making decisions...they have decided  thats their job when they enslave them and rule from on high

As I understand it France is also pushing for the same, seems one way round it is to issue an 'open' visa but not too sure on the details.

The French, and the Spanish do want the Britsh business.  Something like 1/4 of Spains tourism comes from the UK.  What they dont want is the yob element, and who would, but that applies equally to other countries yobs its just the MSM always say 'Brits not welcome' when often that is a twist of the truth.

Oh Dear! How sad! Never mind!

“Unfortunately, [the rule] is not something Spain has established by itself or can get rid of,” he told the i newspaper.

They should consider leaving the EU, then. If they don't like the rules they shouldn't have joined.
