Agreed.
Life without parole would be ideal.
A whole life term will do.
The law will weigh up the intention in the killing, because the law is obliged to be objective and unemotional.

The rest of us have the luxury of examining him being cut into one-inch cubes with a rusty tin lid - and some of us do just that.
Watching the video of his arrest, i am reminded of one of my favourite lines from a film, 'American Beauty' - "Never underestimate the power of denial ..."
Utter scum, another case for the rope IMHO as he is a total waste of oxygen.

Lets hope he gets proper life (which is what the anti rope bunch told us), but I wont hold my breath probably will be out in 8-10 given the current ultra liberal attitude of the Judiciary.

The only hope can be he has to share a cell with "Mr Big".
Yes indeed, the law will weigh up the intention in the killing and the attempted murder. He intended to kill one person, but killed another. The doctrine of transferred malice will apply.

Given that he now has one conviction for murder, one for attempted murder (which carries the same sentence as murder); possession of a firearm and wounding, it is possible that given the totality of the seriousness of his crimes he could get a whole life tariff. Three victims, premeditation, planning, a firearm could lead to that.

It could be that he will get a minimum term of 30 years (or even more) rather than a whole life order. I'm not a criminal lawyer so perhaps someone with more experience than me might be able to say.
he will be friendless in prison, and probably sectioned for his own safety (sadly) but comes a time...
Minimum term of 42 years. Although I understand that there is now a price on his head.

RIP Olivia.

We can hope for a whole life sentence, I'll be surprised if he gets it.

he'll be 76 before he is considered for release - shoulda swung.
