Three for me as well sandy. "erupt" & "adios" have always been my starter words.

I got it in three, once I used my regular two words to start I only had one letter to guess.

I've just finished the Quordle - it was enjoyable/

I once had it in two - but obviously it was a total guess, there's no way you can actually work it out in two unless you get a whole lot of letters right in the first.

I think they're pure flukes, sam. Getting it right after five goes, getting another letter each time, feels more rewarding as I've used my brain rather than my lucky rabbit's foot.

I've just checked my stats and they say I've got it in two guesses seven times. That's utter nonsense, I haven't. They must be mixing my stats up with Susie Dent's.

I sometimes get it on the third line, using raise and youth as my first two. I once got it on the second try as the word was actually my second word "youth" so nothing to boast about.
