Absolutely…..it’s just that some forget or choose to ignore them far more readily than others.

choux, I wouldn't forgive her for what she's done. She's not only lied about the family and caused untold anxiety and sorrow for the queen - she's lied about this country. I don't need to put hostilities aside - I'm not going to the funeral.

I will admit to quietly supporting both Harry and Meghan for quite a while. I felt that so much of the negative reporting came from the likes of the DM. But over the past 12-18 months my opinion has been leave them alone and stop using them for headlines...and wishing they'd retire from the limelight both for their sakes and that of the royal family.
Now, again for their sakes and that of the Royal family, it's time to attempt at least to build bridges. I tend to be on the side of forgiving...not sure I would if it was my family. But my family is not in the public eye.
But it's not up to any of us, or the tabloids. Only those actually involved.

naomi, not sure it is in our gift to "forgive her" as she did not lie about us. If King Charles wishes to treat both of his sons and their wives in the same way what skin can it be off our noses? All of this pontification on AB, with most professing their love, gratitude, respect and loyalty for our late Queen, is not worth a candle if we cannot accept the tenet of extending an olive branch in the time of great sadness and grief. I do believe too much human nature can be a downfall. So be it.

I was typing as you posted, pasta, but pleased to see we are singing from the same hymn sheet.

It would be very hard to see either or both of them retreating from the headlines as their work seems to be heavily media-lead, but I get your point.

pasta, I agree with you that a lot of what we think we know we have read in the papers, but you cannot deny the words you have heard Meghan speak on Oprah, her interview for The Cut and her Podcasts.
