£10 per day at Woolacombe.
Is it at the seaside? I hope that you have a good time and come back happy and cheerful.
Have a great holiday.
Bring us all here in AB sticks of rock?
We don't do sticks of rock in N Devon. We do surf, body boarding and other cool things

Thanks 237SJ. That must be the Parkin Estates car park, which is just a large field. Not that long ago it was only £2 per day. I might be mistaken but I'm sure I read somewhere that someone was charging £10 per hour in Woolacombe. Old age and dry rot setting in probably.
Scones ...
wolfie, he is going to North Devon, not Lourdes... ;)

Sorry SJ, I don't do any of those. Last time I went in the sea at Woolacombe 2 years ago, it beat me up big time! I'll be staying in my deck chair thank you!
It's £10 per day but I think it might be £5 after 1500 hours. Still a lot more than it used to be but less than Saunton Beach car park. Make sure you get down there quite early if you want to get a spot.
...proper scones. Just be careful with the cream and jam.
...or is it jam and cream
Have a marvellous time Clarion

I'll be on a mission and I'm absolutely certain I'll be wasting my time but I'll be scouring the nearby fields in search of Britains' rarest bumble bee, the Great Yellow. Amongst other things of course!
:)
That was for wolfie

Thanks folks. Mrs Clarion also has family that live in Braunton, and we have friends who live in Loxhore. Visiting duties required!
Woolacombe does indeed, it seems, charge £10 for a one-hour stay at one of its beach car parks.

However I doubt that the charge is actually "£10 per hour". It's more likely that it's a long-stay car park, where one is charged a tenner irrespective of whether the actual parking period is just a few minutes or all day. (It's a fine example of how unqualified statistics can be misleading).

Thanks Chris. I suspect you're spot on, as usual!

Thanks again folks. Got to get me head down now. I'm getting some ear ache from someone! Byeeeee!
I`ve always said there should be a park and ride from Braunton to Saunton and Croyde beaches. There is a free bus from Braunton but that's OK if you live in Braunton..
