Oh well, as it does actually seem to be Friday, I suppose that we'd better see if we can beat Aunty Beeb's question setters this week:

I love all wheat beers, Tony. Franziskaner possibly doesn't have quite the depth of flavour of its big German rival, Erdinger, but it's still a lovely summer drink. (4 for £6 in Tesco: https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/268277048 )

'Clean Your Floors Day'? Well, actually, I'm nearly in a position to do so in my bedroom, having spent much of the last fortnight trying to sort out over a quarter of a century's hoarding! (At least I can see most of the floor now anyway! I'm hoping to be able to put my brand new vacuum cleaner into use tomorrow, so I'll only be a day late. won't I?).

A blot? Mon Beano? Squeerch? Dysha? Have you been doing too many cryptic crosswords lately? (Or have you, perhaps, been celebrating International Beer Day too?)
