The smell of the stuff is enough to make me want to throw up. Even if someone on the opposite side of a room just opens a packet of salt and vinegar crisps, I have to go outside for a breath of fresh air.

My tea (which was also my breakfast and lunch, as it's the only thing that I've eaten today) was half a can of pink salmon (because it was on my 'use up' list), followed by half a can of macaroni cheese (also on that list) on toast, with plenty of freshly-ground black pepper. (I was going to put the salmon in with the macaroni cheese but I didn't fancy it, so I had them separately). That was followed with a vanilla yogurt and several mugs of tea.

Chip shop vinegar is not brewed malt vinegar. It is a non brewed condiment. Basically coloured acetic acid. It is the proper stuff for chips though.
