...million in €uros? Surely a briefcase would be big enough to carry 2000 five hundred Euro notes.

I'd like to be able to give it a go.
Oh dear, Sandy...what are you up to? ;-)
Let us know if you need help with the bail money.

Befriend a prince from the Middle East and he might bring a bag of money for you to pass on to your favourite charity.
There'll be more to this than meets the eye, Tilly. Mark my words.
Not Fortnum and Mason bags, Sandy.... :-)
Bingo!
It must have been very heavy.

The bottom could fall out of a Fortnum & Mason bag.
M&S bags for life are more reliable.
I shall bear that in mind, Sandy, although all I have are the dollars I bought from a desperate American tourist last week.
Did you charge the despi American for the use of your loo, Gness?
That should be desperate!
Wouldn't a cheque have been more discreet? It would certainly have been easier to transport. Ah! But it wouldn't have been - er - as ostentatious, would it?
No loo in the shop, Tilly.....have to use the one in the chipper. She fell in love with some necklaces but only had dollars. She told me the exchange rate and I exchanged them....to calm her down as much as anything.
Found out later we've made a profit for the village charity shop. May try that again.... ;-)
Good for you and the charity.
"The bottom could fall out of a Fortnum & Mason bag."

A million euro and a bottom? Sounds like somebody had their erse handed to them. :-)
no - it was gift to thieves, drug dealers & money launderers to introduce 500 Euro notes EU-eejits.
It's the second footman I feel sorry for.
:-) That made me laugh, Spicerack.

Yes, the lackey would be the one to carry it. (With an armed escort)
