Well I dont agree with him on this self declaring gender but at least he had the balls to do it unlike other ladies recently.

Not sure how it will go down with the women voters, perhaps a few ladies might like to inform us?

I'm not a fan of all this attention seeking cobras, this just adds fuel to the fire. If you have a Y chromosome you're a bloke, end of.
I doubt that many male participants in sport will agree with his comments.

So a man didnt give birth. She was still transitioning.

It's rather worrying that if she was transitioning the doctors didnt notice she was up the spout.
This is ridiculous, it really is. Shame on him for jumping on what he regards as a popular bandwagon. Plonker!
Wait till a boatload of blokes turn up on a beach in Kent and insist that they are laydees. Besides that they could declare that they are 14 year olds and insist on being sent to a girls school. God help em ... not the girls.
Who is the plonker Naomi?
pleased to see that he has his priorities in order with the world on the brink of world war three . . .
13:29, not a man me old china.
// pleased to see that he has his priorities in order //

well it's soooo important that the world is told that a woman can:-
have a penis
have no neck
have a beard
have a hairy back
and that a man can:-
menstruate
bear children.....

all the dressing up, surgery etc makes no difference all you need to know is if it has a Y chromosome it's a geezer, if it doesn't it's Laydee! end of!
Starmer, Danny … and anyone else who thinks a man is a woman just because he wants to be.
Agree with you Naomi.
Total respect to Sir Keir for his comments.

Measured, sensible and pragmatic.

//Measured, sensible and pragmatic.//

Really? Potentially peeing off 50% of your voters to appease less then 1% is measured and sensible? No matter what the subject I would suggest otherwise.
Perhaps the 50% (guesswork surely?) will accept that Stamer is expressing an opinion.

Perhaps this isn’t a matter of ‘appeasing’ less than 1% (again - guesswork), but opening a dialogue?
Starmer said ‘trans women are women’. That is a lie.
It's hardly a lie. At most it's wrong -- but even that is a matter of definition. Despite the impression that this site gives, about half of the UK agrees with the statement "a transgender woman is a woman" -- and, perhaps relevantly for the question, this seems to be an opinion more held by women than by men! See, eg,

https://yougov.co.uk/topics/politics/trackers/how-brits-define-a-transgender-woman

It’s not a matter of definition. Women are women. Men are not women. To say they are is a lie. They are not and never will be.
Implicit in that post is how you define "women", which is itself subjective. I am not saying your definition is wrong, but it's not definitive. "Trans women are women" is therefore axiomatic.
