My parents tried to download the app to get proof of their covid vaccines. It sounds very bizarre they could not find their original letter so they had to reset their password and then take a copy of their passport and send it to them and then my father had to read out a number sent by text and my mother had to record it. Also the NHS App has ripples under it. They are annoyed at me because I can't help them. It should be a straightforward process but is anything straightforward with this Scottish government that are a bunch of woke f wits

I had to photograph my driving licence and then record a video saying a number that I had been sent. A few hours later, I received an email confirming that my identity had been confirmed and I could access the app. I’m in England.
In order to get my "passport" all I had to do was access the site, enter my name, date of birth, and health card number. I received the passport within two minutes...I live in Ontario
It sounds normal, you are pretty quick to assume that the fault (if any) is with the app. It is usually user error.
I didn't use an app, just went on to the NHS Scotland helpline. Gave the guy my name, DOB and dates of my jags. Received my "passport" by email the next day.
