I think you are deliberately skewing what Naomi I saying. Of course the abuse is racially motivated, the people holding those views are card carrying knuckle dragging morons, I don't think anyone disputes that but I think Naomi is saying that missing the penalties is the catalyst that brought out those views. I hope that is what Naomi means anyway!

Unfortunately it's not only untitled who reads into my posts something I've not said. Some people make a habit of it. Where did I say that, untitled? I refer you to my comments re big noses, etc. Bullies will attack anything they think will upset their victim - in this case not big noses but colour. That's what bullies do.

A genius piece of insight there I’d say.
But surely not really the point :-)
As I said earlier, any player who missed a penalty would probably get some form of abuse, but it would be of a different sort. It’s the same attitude that equates calling Boris Johnson “the big fat one” (which is childish) and calling … well we’ll have to use our imagination if we have any …

If you think that naomi then you must think these people are not racists... they're just bullies who happen to be using colour instead of big noses or hair colour. They're just angry people who happen to have reached for the n-word. In other words, you've read two instances of racial abuse and concluded to yourself that they are not racist...
He's been suspended pending investigation but I've no doubt he will be disposed of. No reputable company would continue to employ him.
