i tried having a lie in but woke at 5am, and couldn't get back to sleep,

I've got in mind cleaning the windows, they need it, it's sunny and warm, so ideal.

i don't do mine, they haven't had a clean for an age, though are remarkably clear.

fine ta..bit of clearing up to do after decorator...and then will make a start on the porch woodwork give it a bit of a freshen up and emulsion over the next few days...

whats your weather like Minty, its lovely here.
you should be finished with the decorating soon......

if so what's your next project, i confess i can't keep up with you, i would be worn out if i did all that

I'm going to tackle the outside of the windows today.

i couldn't do that boaty as im 2 floors up, i know you live in a bungalow, so that's relatively safe.

wet and dreary here today ..bit changeable ..think it is to get nice soon.... kitchen after porch emmie..not a lot to do in there..bit of emulsion... then nothing more inside till after the bathroom is refitted and the stairs and upper and lower halls will need doing after a horde of workmen touting baths and loos have been traipsing up 'n' doon the stairs !
