Had a fish supper take away a week past Friday which I can only describe as being 'rank' I messaged the owner and said how I thought the meals were disgusting especially the cod bites x3 he came back with " a member of staff put them in polystyrene boxes instead of the cardboard ones"
And when I went back to his shop he'd make sure it didn't happen again, and he'd refund the cod bites x3
Now who in there right mind would go in and ask for a refund on his cod bites?
He should revert back to good old newspapers to wrap em in :0))))

assumed a carpenter had done a sub standard job for you . . .

does putting them in polystyrene make a difference to the taste? My curry sauce always comes in polystyrene and tastes great. My kebab comes in polystyrene and also tastes lush

I'm laughing at myself " a refund on his cod bites
Oo -err Mrs, haha
ps I would also not ask for a refund :)
if the food was rank, then surely that's why one would get a refund, no matter what it was wrapped in, or am i missing something
Question Author
I've no idea, but that's what he said re polystyrene
Question Author
No Emmie , you're missing nothing, he only offered to refund the stuff mistakenly put in the polystyrene boxes not the rest of the meals
Chip shops, imo, shouldn't use polystyrene, it makes everything soggy. Fine for wet stuff, but not fish or chips.
if as you say it wasn't nice, rank as you say, then one should get a full refund...
oh well bobbi, better luck next time.
