Why is the SNP wasting effort and resources on pursuing an illegal "referendum" when they should be fighting the war on COVID-19 with the rest of the UK?

All you English"Scots"should come up and live in Scotland.A couple of days in the Weegieland slums, and you would be back to England in a flash,at the same time building a new Hadrians Wall behind you.Scotland sure aint a land of milk and honey with the yokels munching on heather and living next-door to Brigadoon.

TCL said he would vote to leave, I assume therefore that he lives in Scotland. Otherwise he'd by a little bit hypocritical would he?
@09.52.I dont buy into either,Trevor. We just got rid of the half-Scottish nationalist by the name of Trump. We dont want another full-Scottish nationalist like Sturgeon or Salmond.
The Scots may need Trump to build their wall , He's very good at building walls.
All nationalists are good at building walls,Gully.Perhaps TCL,Maggie and JimF can give him a hand?
In the question I was asked, "in a future referendum, would you vote to leave the UK?", I took the "would" to mean "if it were possible", hence the answer I gave.

TCL: So you live in England but you'd vote for Scotland to leave the UK if you lived in Scotland! Very logical Mr Spock! PMSL
So if you are keen for Scotland to Leave the UK why did you leave Scotland?
Like a lot of"Scottish"nationalists,Tora,TCL prefers to live in England rather than to have to slum it up here with real Scots.
Not very unlike the swathes of Brexit-voting expats living in Spain now is it. I read a Spanish article calling them a laughing stock.

Very logical. PMSL.

Yes TTP bunch of wallies, I agree. The height of hypocrisy.
If you had asked, "in a future referendum, WILL you vote to leave the UK?", I would have said I won't, since I don't have the vote.

Since I was not born in Scotland (but born to Scots parents and with a Scots brother and Scots sister) there was no need to leave Scotland.
Question Author
TCL: So you weren't born in Scotland, you don't live in Scotland but you'd vote to leave the UK if you could! Right oh! Why not move there in time for the vote?
Oh, we've moved on to the 'if you don't like it then leave' phase of your rhetoric. Gosh, how predictable.
Question Author
TTP, well I was really agreeing with you, TCL lives in England yet he would vote for Scotland to leave the UK. Very much like the expats you talk about.
Trev just likes to argue. Doesn't care what it's about.
A lot of pansies are like that online.
Thanks Spicerack, I actually agree with TCL.

But I do hope that wasn't a deliberate homophobic sneer.
For those who think the Union Flag need not change if Scotland leaves, would it not be odd for a former constituent of the UK to be represented but a current one, Wales, to be excluded still?
Question Author
we should keep the blue triangles and lob a Dragon on somewhere, open to suggestions.
Leave the red and white on it, representing Northern Ireland and England, and change the background from blue to green to match the background of the Welsh flag. Sorted.
//lob a Dragon on somewhere\\

A rather unkind description of Ms Sturgeon, don't you think?☺
Question Author
Nope, can't have green, it will be associated with Islam.
