Cant wait for my turn Tiggs , I'll be there with knobs on, till then I'm going nowhere
I still can't believe how old she is, she looks at least 20yrs younger.
Agree Barsel, Margaret looks amazing for her age
Question Author
Yes, she does look a lot younger than her age. I bet her family must be so relieved that she is now relatively safe.
you think they'll let her back into the house now, tigger?
tigger im sorry to hear that you are struggling to stay positive. What is it that is making you fearful? The risk of getting covid, the wait time for vaccine, loneliness? All of the above?
eve, possibly the way it's been the best part of a year and is actually getting worse.
May be there is some youth serum in the jab!!
yes jno - feeling that way too. :( and I (personally) don't believe the vaccine is gonna be the panacea that we hope it to be. I think 2021 may well be harder still. Im not normally doom n gloom but this covid has me in that mindset
and who do we believe...politicians (world over) are masters at manipulating stats etc and reliant on medical experts who are floundering themselves
Question Author
Don't know about that Jno, but at least the chance of her dying from covid is significantly reduced.

Everything Eve although luckily I'm not alone. I'm mostly fearful for my parents and nan.
Please don’t tell Hancock, He may start ( pretend) crying again. She looks fabulous.
It would be *** law that shes In the 5% that dont get immunity and catches it next week!
I think the reason we are all 'down' is because, at least amongst people I spoke to, we all thought it would be over by the summer (last summer). We were even planning what to do for a friend's birthday in September, but of course it wasn't to be and on and on it goes ..
That's a lovely pic. of her with the nurse. She looks younger, I think, because she colours her hair. Bless her.
down because there is no end in sight, vaccination going to take a long time to do, and i can't see any relief from it this coming year.
it is a nice pic, wish her well
Good news is that the Oxford vaccine has now been approved by the regulator so we should see a quicker roll-out now. Be grateful for good news and look forward to spring and better weather - stay positive!
Welcome to the new normal..... I suspect we will become a country where like parts of the far East mask wearing in public doesn't completely go away, where because of exotic travel viruses move around the world like Covid has, the next one could be worse. Just imagine how it could have been if younger people had been the group most affected . That is very very scary. It's happened now and we will be better prepared for the next time but that next time might not be far away.
not sure that they will be prepared for the next one? they certainly weren't prepared for this one
