They are upset about not meeting family at Christmas but there is never a hint of dissent, they always say they agree with it all and they will obey the rules to the letter no matter what. Its not what I hear from people out in the real world.

I've heard people say some pretty strange things on tv interviews a lot of young people. complaining it's unfair, a few saying they will disregard the rules because it's Christmas innit!
they can hardly stand there and say that they are having a rave up, wouldn;t do you know.
The BBC (and indeed many other organisations) are very selective about what they publish. It has to be "on message" or it doesn't get near the airwaves. Only last week I received a survey from Amazon asking how good I thought something was which I'd bought from one of their suppliers. I responded quite truthfully - and reasonably I thought - by telling them I couldn't possibly say because, despite having been promised the goods a week earlier, I still hadn't got them. I received a response saying my "review" (if that's what they like to call it) couldn't be published as it didn't comply with their guidance on such matters.

I dare say the BBC are under orders not to provide any indication that there is dissent among the natives. But there certainly is.
the natives are not happy NJ
Maybe normal folk body-swerve the simpering dweebs that the BBC employs to ask the bleedin' obvious on the high street.
Yes as emmie says who's going to go on air saying they are going to break the law?
The thing is, there are always more than one party involved in this.
You might be quite happy flouting the rules, but in doing so you need to be sure that your contacts are too
Anyone attempting to interview me today would've got an earful. My anxiety levels have been quite high, as are probably millions of others :o(
tigger, mine too.
Most of the shouty objectors are sat in the warm posting noisy viewpoints online.
perhaps they are mamy, but people like Piers Corbyn has been out and about for an age on the streets of london and Manchester shouting the odds on whether its a real virus, he isn;t alone -
The BBC don't want to encourage the 4Ds who are doing so much to destroy the country/world.
They should interview him then
they have, he;s been interviewed fined for leading demos of like minded people last fine was 10,000 i believe
I've been near to tears a few times Emmie, worrying about my nan and my parents.
i don;t worry so much about brothers and sil in laws and my mum is gone now.
i guess i do worry about one brother who has bronchial troubles but they seem as though they have largely stuck to their own group.
Quite a few "shouty-objectors" are not sitting at home posting on-line: https://canoe.com/news/local-news/montreal-police-issue-more-than-400000-worth-of-tickets-at-anti-mask-demo/wcm/9f2781a9-4ac8-45a7-8fa7-b0c988e02bb0
And that's just one city in one country...It's going on all around the world.
The BBC couldn't wait this morning to tell everyone that they could be a food shortage in the supermarkets, how irresponsible can you get. Then within a few seconds of that statement , its reduced to a few items of fresh produce, Broccoli, cauliflower, and so on, along with some fruit items. I've been into two supermarkets this morning and if anything they are already over stocked, to the point of nearly giving it away.
i only quoted Piers Corbyn because he was in the news quite a bit, perhaps being the brother of Jeremy has kept him there. He is an anti vaxxer, and a vocal critic of the government and its policies.
