The baying thugs in the video.
Because I'd rather not risk getting my head kicked in by some thugs.

BLM thugs?
Is that who they claim to be?

If so and they represent BLM, then yes.

Happy now.
Royfromaus - “I Used To Defend The Police”

So did I.
Literally.
I was one.

I simply don't recognise the police any more. And I don't necessarily mean the rank and file. I mean the people at the top, giving the orders. Cops (at least below Inspector level) do as they're told. No if or buts. Their orders may stick in their craw but they do them anyway.

But what I simply cannot fathom is the abject subjugation that many senior police officers display towards overtly aggressive protagonists. It just smacks of cowardice.

“Appeasement only makes the aggressor more aggressive” - JFK.
I couldn't see anything looking like a truncheon or a baton on either of the two policeman and they appeared not to be wearing much in the way of protective gear.

On those circumstances, I would think I would not have stopped to tackle the protestors.

So tell me, big man, what would you have done?
If they stated BLM in the clip then yes, BLM thugs.
Birdie - I have had sight of an operation order with an instruction emanating from the (undefined) very top that Police were to do nothing that might inflame the situation even if it would ordinarily be in order to do so.
Many of the troops had to just put up with being assaulted without retaliation that weekend a fortnight ago.
Perhaps Roy thinks the appropriate action by those two unfortunate Police Officers, would have been to stop, stand their ground and kneel on some darkies throats. That is the way to go to show these interlopers who is boss.

The day I kneel before a baying mob of fascist, marxist, antidemocratic thugs, will be day that Satan skates to work.

I would bow down to the likes of your friends, TCL.

birdie, I spent a year on strike and attended picket lines that ended up with scuffles with the police some of which were absolute brutal ***. Yet I still didn't go anti-police. To have a half decent society I believe we need them.

Question Author
That was for Tigger, you slipped in your reply between me and Tigger.
Question Author
Obviously I mean't 'wouldn't' bow down.
I would run from those that 'behave like monkeys - blm'. Brave in a gang & picking on a lone jew. Ignorant cowards - the lot of them!
What would you have done? Simple question.
Question Author
They were not picking on the Jewish fella, Tambo.
But you must see the point I made in my analogy with the photo reconnaissance plane Roy?
As well as avoiding a kicking it was imperative that those lads protected their gear and the intelligence and evidence that was contained therein.
Shoota - “... Police were to do nothing that might inflame the situation...”

I don't doubt it.

Senior cops are infamous for their abject cowardice in the face of danger. Particularly these days. It used to be that in order to rise through the ranks, you had to start at the bottom as a Constable. Not any more. Now, with the right qualifications and connections, you can start well above that grade – inspector and above – without any actual policing experience whatsoever.

What could possibly go wrong?
Roy's got the answer he wanted.
royfromaus

No problem. As I said, it helps if you make it clear to whom you are addressing.
