Friday. Wall to wall cloud, apart from a wee ragged hole in it just above the North Eastern skyline. We'll see what develops. I hope it stays dry, I got a bit soggy yesterday.
I've been for my stroll along the lane, lots of wildlife going about their business, always fun to just stand still and watch them. The youngsters learning their trade from mum and dad. Thhe view across the Severn Vale is always a pleasure to see.
Just a bit of shoplifting in Lidl today, then the rest of the day is mine, I've got seven knives that need sharpening, so that's an hour taken up.

By hand in which way? I use a chefs steel.

Ummmm, a chefs steel doesn't sharpen the blade. When you use a sharp knife, the edge is very fine and bends over a wee bit as you use it, the chef's steel just straitens it up. It will need sharpening occasionally.
