Sadly I think isolation will lead to more violent crime, with some family members finding the stress of confinement too difficult to bear.

But it's probably a case of the lesser of two evils, a choice not unknown within the current crisis.
I don't think we should play the 'how many more' game but this was to be expected. There will also be lots of divorces too.

I hope Billy Joe Saunders reads this and realises what a dipstick he is.
Is there a book on this then?

I’ll have 50p each way on 22% more than this time last year.
Are we trying to say these murders would not have occurred had it not been for the lockdown?
Also a huge concern is the child abuse cases, sadly :o(
There is a huge spike in divorce applications in January and after the summer holidays because being thrown together highlights the problems. If you have a friend or relative you suspect or know is in an abusive relationship please make an effort to keep in touch by phone or internet
