Jno, that's for their protection and as has been said, strong advice and not enforceable.
I'm going to panic buy compost, my garden should be brilliant later in the year if I'm to be cb'd. Sorry if that sounds frivolous, I know it will be a great impediment for many and I hope they are able to cope well.
they could have said nothing and let the old'uns catch it and die....would certainly have helped with the NHS bill (joke)
zebo, I have panic bought crafting supplies :)
woofgang, the Tory vote is massively skewed toward the elderly - no way they're going to let their supporters die!

that's what I'm counting on. When I tunnel out at night, I shall wear a blue rosette.
Woofgang, no need to panic but craft stuff here, everywhere is already rammed

The death rate varies wildly from country to country: Italy is by far the worst at nearly 7%
In Spain it’s over 3% yet in Germany 0.2
In China 3.8, in nearby S Korea 0.9
Haha Zebo......we have just finished ordering a load of compost in case we cannot get out to pick it up. We usually get it in, as and when, in large bales one at a time. We thought that if we had to stay home we would at least have the garden to keep us occupied but needed the materials on site beforehand. Out tomorrow to pick up tomato plants and veg seeds etc. and plenty booze. :))
Sorry Boris, some of us over 70s have to work to pay the rent. Or are you going to pay it for us?
Yes we need the army to help out with supermarkets and especially hospitals.

"Corporal Jones!"
"Yes Sir?"
"Get into that room and deliver the baby!!
Very likely.
That was to woodlepage.
Best and brilliant answer to Prudie at 10.22. Spot on!
There maybe should be encouragement to use online shopping. That way a limit on things can be put on essentials.
