Party loyalty has nothing to do with it, is my point. By any sensible objective standard of behaviour and conduct in high office Trump would have been held accountable long ago. The flaw in cassa's post is that, while undoubtedly some do hate him for the party he represents, it is equally true, if not more so, that Republicans turn a blind eye to his behaviour for the same reason.
