Looks like the flat pack is collapsing, first closure of a UK branch. Have you ever purchased from them?

I haven't got much in the way of Ikea in my home, my daughters have.
Yep i've been ikea a few times. It's nice for a look about and some lunch.
I bought a small wardrobe years ago which I have - it serves as a cupboard in the garage now. I`ve never bought anything else there - not really a fan of their stuff and the nearest Ikea involves a horrible drive around the North Circular road in London.
Link?
Yes, I have. A big shelving unit, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe, a sofa and a chair. Pretty satisfied with them all.
yes quite a lot in the past.
I bought all of mine online. The nearest one is Exeter, 40 miles away. It wasn't there 5 years ago when I first bought from them.
I bought some table napkins in there once. It's like the Vatican museum. Once you're in it's a devil of a job to get out!
It appears it's the sheer size and location of the store that has turned shoppers away.

People try to avoid City centres for shopping now.
"Once you're in it's a devil of a job to get out!"

you just follow the arrows on the floor.

The exit isn't the entrance.
I know ...
They admit that the store in question (Coventry city centre) wasn't a good choice of location.
Yes, I have some Ikea stuff (no flat-pack furniture, though) and have found it really good quality.
It's day 48. Naomi is still stuck in Ikea.
A bit like that...
^ She screams form somewhere in the linen section.
It's not an in and out door in our Croydon branch. It's a veritable maze and,of course, necessitates visiting every dept on the way out. It's like coming through security at Gatwick for departures. You are obliged to take a meandering course through duty free. Like it or not.
It's just MFI tat rebranded.

Bought some years ago to kit out one of our houses. Waste of money, fell apart quickly even with really good tenants. Didnt go back.
I have a couple of walll units from them. Their stuff is not bad.
Maybe it was the tenants fault...not Ikea?
;)
It's odd. Most people I have met do not enthuse about the furniture or household items in the store wether they have purchased any or not. They all seem to have plenty to say about the Swedish meatballs though.
