I hope England carry out their threat to walk off if any players are abused. In fact I would urge all teams to start doing it.

Football seems to attract a certain type of person who revel in the tribe mentality. I am a Saracens season ticket holder and I also go to as many England games at Twickenham as I can. Not once, ever, in all the years I have been attending rugby have I seen any trouble. Whether it's domestic games or International games the fans mix with each other and sit with each...

Never seen black or Asians, as you put it, walking round all week in a Rooney shirt, dirty shorts and trainers, pie in one hand, pint in the other, and can't see the end of their toes for blubber, or run 10yards. But experts at shouting for 90 mins.
That's no way to talk about Dianne Abbott. :-)
Teacake - I've never seen anyone walking round like that.
I found the description here of your archetypal Football fan quite amusing. It describes their particular diet.

Well if you don't get out much ummmm, turn on the TV on match days. the police have to spend most of their time herding them from A to B, as their very confused as where to go after their visit to the pub.
I can honestly say I've never seen anyone walk about with a pie in one hand and a pint in another. Ever.
Eastern Europeans. Who'd want them.
ummmm, you have to be very quick to see it, they normally consume the pie in one mouthful, and the pint follows in the next. To spot them on tv, just look for the ones that tend to walk like penguins, but don't be confused , as penguins have much much higher energy and intelligent levels.
We have Protestants and Catholics up here, no time for black and broon
i think football is a means to an end to them, they go looking for a fight..that simple, imagined power heightened by alcohol and probably
amphetamine, if it was not racist chants it would be something else.
very juvenile and offensive, ruins the game for eveyone else, specially children with there parents, who do not understand.
It is really, as they see it, their only opportunity to be seen and heard. But have little thought to how stupid they make themselves look.
I think often people just get dragged into it. They go along with the atmosphere without even thinking.
We never discuss racism and hooliganism in fishing. Wonder why?
by walking off doesn't it set a dangerous precedence for the racialists achieving their aim?
I've seen fisticuffs at weigh in at the end of an Angling Match here, admittedly it was so unusual I was astonished.

Cowards like the security of a crowd and will tag along with the rest having little or no will power of their own.

It's the organisers of such hooliganism that are the most dangerous.

@ 12.51, to a certain degree may be, but no one likes their plans cut in the bud.
There is something horrible about audiences, (Eg Question time), high hand clapping, crowds and mobs. Climate change is the latest for the unthinking great unwashed.
Football no different. Gives them a sense of identity like belonging to a gang. Safety in numbers.
You know what I mean even if my articulation is wanting.
Because most football fans are stupid?
As in.. the absolute die hard fans football is life life is football
I have Pakistani Muslim friends, Sikh Indians, and by marriage, Sudanese African relatives.
I am colour blind and so are they.
Then along come the offended, "Black Industry, " Abbott, Lammy and the BBC and Prof Kehinde Andrews of Birmingham university telling me my flag is racist and shoving white privelege and black disadvantage down my throat. I don't like it. Others don't and it fuels racism.
Personally, I and my family are colour blind.
