I feel no shame but I think those trying to bully the government should do so. Especially the continual requesting of an apology for doing nothing that needed apologising for, and those who got hysterical criticising perfectly reasonable language describing the truth of the situation, and claiming all sorts of nonsense. Boris may have errored referring to Jo Cox, but even then he wasn't the one who started talking humbug (which is as polite as one can get regarding snowflake style bullying) regarding language encouraging violence.
I`m sure Boris had many more important things to do for the country than sit around listening to people making up excuses to abuse him personally. He lasted longer than I would have.
They had to re-stock the in house shop this morning with 50 boxes of Rennies.

Fabulous. ///

Yes she was was what one can only described as a 'fish wife' how such an obnoxious person as her ever become a member of parliament is anyone's guess, it doesn't say much for the constituency that chose a person such as her to represent them.

As for Boris Johnson using words that encourage loonies such as the one who murdered Jo Cox, her stirring up such hate against the prime minister, could also encourage those with assassination on their minds.
Yes the Speaker also intervened on behalf of the PM when he might have been accused of lying to the House (as opposed to lying IN the House which is Rees-Mogg’s speciality).
Even if he’d wanted to stir things he hardly needed to :-)
Several times he told everyone to calm down. That’s part of his job.
"Humbug" is defined as "deceptive or false talk or behaviour".

Paula Sherriff said two things.

1) she received death threats
2) the PM's language could inflame matters further

Which of those two things Paula Sherriff said was Boris referring to when he said "I've never heard such humbug in all my life"? He did not make it clear, but the way he phrased it it sounded like everything she had said. This includes calling her a liar for saying she received death threats!

Thomas Mair, killer of Jo Cox, targeted her because he saw her as "one of 'the collaborators' and a traitor".

I don't think it's unreasonable to think that more Thomas Mairs could be being cultivated by the present debacle in Parliament.
Bobbisox, that's a ridiculous OP.
10cs //Bobbisox, that's a ridiculous OP.//
In what way is it ridiculous?
It's ridiculous to even suggest that anyone is ashamed of the BHC. What is there to be ashamed of? I can hera the roars now: "Where have you been for the last 3 years!" Why should anyone be ashamed? I don't get it.
10cs. I watched the HOC live yesterday and the behaviour could have made some people ashamed of the riotous conduct.
Barry Sheerman's constituency voted 69% in favour of leave.
Why is he not assisting the process of leaving?
(Caveat: so I'm told.)
There is talk about the Speaker withdrawing his termination notice.

Do you have a link?
just a snatch of it on the car radio , sorry no link.
ANOTHEOLDGIT, considering the way you throw your toys out the pram when your name is written incorrectly, calling someone who has been subjected to death threats and abuse, "obnoxious" and "a fish wife" is beneath contempt.
If true it is par for the course for Bercow to rescind his resignation. He’s done it before and no doubt he’ll do it again.
I think 'Ashamed' is the wrong word. 'Embarrassed' Yes. I think the Labour party did show themselves up yesterday for what they are; Blustering air bags full of concocted Outrage.
Well what did you expect from Johnson.
He thinks he can run Paliament like he ran The Bullingdon Club .LCS,
