I don't do much cooking at the moment due to a dodgy oven, but this time next year the extension will be built and I'll have a brand new kitchen.

There's a chicken in the slow cooker for later and I'll do salad to serve with it.

LOL...rocky....don't know, but it will be good as Mrs sqad is an excellent cook and at the end of the evening meal I rate her performance in stars 1 star.....5 star and it is mostly, not always the latter.
Precooked meals do not get rated and the starring is only for meals that she has prepared and they are rated on presentation and taste.

Just had a bacon and tomato sarnie. Living the dream. Got 8 lbs of blackberries in the freezer. I love picking them, there are trillions at the back of local pub.

We're having a small starter of smoked salmon on mini beetroot and potato rosti with horseradish cream; then roast lamb with all the trimmings; then white chocolate and black pepper mousse.
