The child's life wasn't in immediate danger, it was a GP consultation.
pathetic...getting free treatment and then complain, perhaps she should return to her country of origin and seek treatment, from the local witch doctor.

But you still need to FULLY understand EVERYTHING so no mistakes are made, we have lots of foreign people in my hospital who don't speak English or English very well so we hire a translator to ensure we get the correct information.

This seems to be about communication and nothing to do with religion, so not discrimination. If I spoke to a doctor with my hand over my mouth, or too quietly, I would expect him to ask for an adjustment. They are trying to help people.
The Mail often uses this sort of headline for stories it want to get people wound up about. I think the word 'could' means 'could if it was pushed to the nth degree but won't, even then'. This paper likes to get people getting irate about all sorts of issues....

Just refuse to treat these people if they can't conform to this Country's normality, the treatment is free, what more do they want?
