Whilst David Lammy asks why the rum wasn't Jamaican.

/// Reacting to Ms Abbott's apology, Tottenham MP David Lammy tweeted: 'Jah Rastafari! Why was the rum not Jamaican?' ///

Always best to keep it in the 'family' eh David?

No I think that e have diverted my thread enough, so let us get back on track shall we.

But before we do, I am intrigued, where are these places where one takes old folks to be put down?

Also the definition of your word Dignatas, would help to clear matters up.

Perhaps getting back to the crime of the century would be a good move.
Thank you mamya x

/// Perhaps getting back to the crime of the century would be a good move. ///

Don't you mean the 'CRIMES' of recent years, Mam?

And should the thread title not read 'Diane Abbott?'

Judging by the support for Ms Abbott, could you imagine what their response would have been if it had been, Boris Johnson or Nigel Farage who had been seen breaking the law, drinking out of a can on the Tube?
If you feel she should be dealt with more severely for consuming alcohol on a train, that is your right.
Good luck to the pair of them.
(The UK needs them to be lucky.)

Eh!! be careful Baldric, one can get into trouble for correcting fellow ABers misspelling.

That is why I didn't do the same to Rockrose when she put
Dignatas instead of Dignitas.

All I did was to ask her to explain to me what that word meant, because I could not find a definition for it, in fact if she actually meant Dignitas, I am still in a ponder of what she was getting at, because that word doesn't have a true English definition.

And where on earth has anyone, least of all me, suggested anything like that?
If there's one talent you do excel at , it's never knowing when to stop.

Move on and discuss your thread topic.
Perhaps that’s because I’m not English!
But still glad your not making this personal!

I would still be interested in knowing what the Irish definition of the word Dignatas is please?
Sigh...

RR has made it clear she's not Irish!!
It’s ok ummmmm at least he’s not making this personal!

@ 12:41, not correcting anyone AOG simply asking a question on a
Q and A site.

Any chance of a return to the original subject of this thread, namely Diane Abbott.
