?????
London is home to 9,000,000 people.
4 were stabbed, not fatally.
It would be impossible for 1 person to stab 9 million, so in fact they are pretty safe.
^^^I'm in London 5 days out of 7 and I'm happy to live with those odds.
Does anyone think they should stop reporting it?

It's become like the norm and youngsters feel like they need to carry a knife.
Not London, but parents like this don't help.

"4 were stabbed, not fatally"

All is good then, nothing to see here move along now, it's just part and parcel.

Tell that to those that have been stabbed Gromit, they may not have the same blase attitude you have to knife crime.
Three stabbed yesterday, but not in London but in Glasgow, so I doubt anyone will bother posting about it.
And Glasgow doesn’t even have an Asian Mayor.

I've got 2 Pangas. From Guatemala. They were bought for me many years ago, as a holiday present, before all the security checks at airports. They are in fancy leather holders. I keep saying I'll hand them in at the next amnesty but I've never bothered.

Gromit

In the year 2017-2018 there were 59 victims of homicide in the whole of Scotland.

In London alone during the same period there were 153 murders.

AOG,

Scotland has half the population as London, so of course the homicide total will be a lot less.
I don't think the solutions to knife crime are too difficult to work out. It's just a question of whether we've got the political will to implement them.

Odd you should mention that Gromit. It is the Glasgow model that our English government has held up as a shining beacon for reducing knife crime. :-(

Why should you be bothered providing they remain in your house you are not committing any offence. I have a couple of Fairburn Sykes fighting knives and two K-Bar knives plus one Dudley Robbins trench knife. Also have my old issue lock knife. All illegal outside my house but mine are in a safe and will never see the outside light of day until it it is time and the price is right to auction them as collector's pieces.
Correct retro.(worth posting this again)

/// "Is Anyone Safe In Our Capital City?"

Yes. ///

How can you possibly say that?

Perhaps you would like to say who is ?
Tell that to the 17year old fatally shot last week. Same day Two stabbings one in London Road Sutton just up the road from where I was sitting. That was last Thursday I think. So easy to lose track of so many events. Another stabbing in Tottenham, and four random attacks in Edmonton. Tell the victims who are still alive to hear you tell them that London is safe and they may consider you are deluded. Front page of the Daily Mail this morning. Theresa and Javid now consider it a disease. Ha.
