I think that you will find that it was on that day we were promised to come out of the EU, instead May chose to have another attempt at getting her deal over yet again.

We weren't told that there would have to be an agreement, we were told we would be out on that day.

Yes I suppose that Naomi was only trying to be humorous, just like the TV programme Dad's Army was, but for anyone who lived through the early years of WW2 those brave old gentlemen were prepared to sacrifice their very lives in the last chance defence of this country we now live in.
