I was watching earlier but got bored with the SNP constantly whining.
Jim, //I'm not sure that anyone else has actually tried to deliver on the referendum as strongly as Theresa May has. I profoundly disagree with her interpretation of the result...//

I disagree with her interpretation of the result too, but she's far from stupid ... which is why I find it difficult to agree that she's tried to deliver on the result of the referendum at all. She hasn't.
Let them try reversing A50. The resulting disorder will make the 'gilets jaunes' protests in France look like a walk in the park.
I'm not so sure...
Aye I can imagine it now, 10s of thousands rioting with there incontinence pants on and waving their zimmers, throwing cups of tea at the police. The leakage could be catastrophic.
Hope they televise it
I listened to Bernard Jenkin insist that parliament must fulfil the will of the people and enact Brexit in one breath and then in the next with no sense of irony declare that he was going effectively to do the opposite by voting against the deal.
I think there’s a lot of nonsense talked about what would happen if somehow Brexit didn’t happen. For everyone who feels strongly about that there’s probably at least as many who feel as strongly the other way. I suspect there’s a majority in the middle who are fed up and just want an end to it either way,
Steg I'd marry you I swear, I just spat coffee everywhere at your reply :) x
You seem not to understand that the "deal" is anti-Brexit, recognised by both leavers and remainers to tie us in permanently, and those that believe in one can not support the other. No irony there to sense.
This deliberate attempt to try to make Brexit revocable is an embarrasment to the country and democracy. If it ever gets attempted the split in the country will be permanent, democracy will be seen to be absent, and our system of government never trusted again in it's present form. Despite the recent political activity the only honourable path forward now is still, no-deal.
Let's face it if the deal is turned down , the only way she can save face is a second referendum.

which she says won;t happen..
Emmie, she might not have a choice if the commons votes for it.
She said there wouldn’t be an early election ;-)
I understand perfectly well that people like Bernard Jenkin think the deal “isn’t proper Brexit” but the refusal by him and others (and by Jeremy Corbyn and his tribe) to accept that that is essentially it as far as Brexit is concerned is self denial. So if they vote against this they will very possibly be stopping Brexit. If you don’t like the backstop, get your **** fingers out and negotiate it out of existence. That is what it is there for.
//Steg I'd marry you I swear//

Thanks my friend, but I wouldn’t make a good husband...........
but I’m game for a snog behind the bike sheds if you want
Careful you two: make sure you have a backstop in place first ;-)
She is not there to save face, she is there, amongst other things, to deliver the result of the referendum, which so far she hasn't tried to do; preferring to try to get some twisted exit/stay compromise, capitulating to the EU to the detriment to our nation. She's reached the stage where most have lost respect for her, and the only honourable next step is to officially accept no-deal, with or without accompanying resignation.
Aye, long as it didnae interfere with ma kilt and ma wellies
As long*
Does it really need pointing out again that May's deal isn't Brexit ? Indeed parts such as the 'backstop' rope us in without any control to get out. No person who genuinely believes in leaving the EU, or the state of our nation, could responsibly vote for it. One has to wonder about motives for those who claim they support leaving and yet tell us that they favour May's prevention of it, citing those few obvious bits in it that one would expect to have agreed anyway.
