Seems the dodging the ambulance theory may be a bit off.

Well, I certainly expected him to be non-caucasian and a Muslim!
andy-hughes, //I am not sure who 'we' are, or what convinced 'us' that he would be a Muslim other than deeply incised lines of pre-existing predjudice. //

I'm one of the 'we' - and I don't speak from a deeply incised line of pre-existing prejudice, but from experience. When people deliberately aim motor vehicles at random members of the public in crowded areas experience has taught me that more often than not the driver is a Muslim carrying out an act of terrorism.

I'll add bigbad as well, shall I, spath?

Feel free, naomi, feel free!

spath, I very rarely feel a fool, probably because I think before I speak. Try it.
Haven't heard the 'history of mental problems' touted yet.

1. Bigbad is a “she”
2. I’m no sheep, and I seriously doubt naomi is either.
3. You keep right on defending these people. I’m waiting for you to use your favourite expression “poked with a stick”
4. You come out with too much drivel for me to converse with you any further.
naomi - // experience has taught me that more often than not the driver is a Muslim carrying out an act of terrorism. //

That means you (that's the 'we that AOG represents of course) are assuming on the basis of probability, which is fine, as long as you present your opinion as such.

But it is an assumption, and not yet a fact, so you could end up being entirely wrong.

You know what 'assume' does - don't you?
jackdaw - // Haven't heard the 'history of mental problems' touted yet. //

That's because the other 'we' - the majority of people who don't actually pre-judge something based on media reports and our own knee-jerk prejudices, are waiting for a few facts to emerge.

spath, why do you keep posting that rubbish?
Spath, at least a sheep is capable of seeing what is going on: The proverbial ostrich isn't.

Andy-hughes, //You know what 'assume' does - don't you?//

I do indeed. In instances like this assumptions based on experience prevent one presenting oneself interminably as a useful idiot.
