// 28 people who want this film banned//
have they even considered the number of films they could object to re political correctness?
ps, i'd ban it for dreadful acting alone

Erm.....Weren't the Zulu savages protecting their own land from 'armed immigrants'?
They don't like it up em you know! (or was that the Fuzzy Wuzzies?)
If they dont like the subject matter then dont go and see it...not too difficult to work that out...im sick of other people objecting to what I can and cant watch because of their own pathetic fascist methods and intolerances...I will decide what i want to see or dont want to see
Of course it shouldn't be banned. It's up to the individual whether they want to watch it or not. Personally I love it.
"Snowflakes thousands of them".

Definitely not, great film.
My Aunt had a £10 note in her purse when she died. As we only had 10/- we regarded the amount she had as a "hoard."

Not sure if it was said in the film but perhaps changing the line "don't shoot 'til you see the w****s of their eyes" to "oi' you lot . . . stop chucking those spears!" might assuage some?
It isn't a "superb" film (poor acting & just too long), but no, of course it shouldn't be banned.

It's a part of the cultural record & *that* should stay intact for the perusal & critique of generations to come.

Your question,
/// Should The Superb Film Zulu Be Banned? ///
is a closed question requiring only a Yes or No answer.

My opinion is No.
[email protected] no they weren't.
The Zulus were not 'fighting the invaders of their land'. In fact, Shaka Zulu was himself and expansionist Imperialist. The Zulu Empire he led in the 19th century forced out many other African tribes from the regions of their ancient settlement. Under his rule, the Zulus killed and enslaved other black South Africans of neighbouring clans and Kingdoms. Chiefly(pun intended) the Ndebele, Hubi and Ngwane.
But they were indigenous nevertheless.

AOG is rather keen (when it suits) for indigenous peoples to repel 'invaders'.....

.......especially if the invaders have a different skin-tone from those indigenoue peoples.

/// Is a 'hoarde' officially 20,000 then? ///

No Zacs, your 'hoarde' has a different meaning as in a "hoard of treasure", but of course it doesn't have an 'e' on the end either.

I thought that your English was better than that.

AOG, it doesn't have an 's' either in the context of your post.

Why should we when the question does not require it?
Furthermore the correct word is horde not hoard.Do not criticise people for typos when you make them yourself.
^that's for AOG^

Yes I'm afraid I didn't notice that until I had posted, originally I included the 'S' until I found out the actual number of Zulus, so I missed the 'S' while I edited my post.
