It seems quiet around here tonight so, to put a stop to all that, here's the wonderful Joja Wendt, who doesn't so much 'play' a piano as 'attack' it ;-)
I enjoyed that, Kvalidir and (as I've said before here) I'm always pleased to find others here who enjoy music that goes beyond what gets into the British or US pop/rock charts.
(The language didn't bother me at all, although the gore kept making me think of some of the messier first aid call-outs I've had to handle in the past!)
I love the video, really Tarantino and it's such an ear worm, plus he cites his main influence as Bob Dylan and thinks Trump is a twonk, so I won't hold his lyrics against him tbh.
The problem for me with responding with posts on music threads is that it's hard to keep up with all the posts if I'm actually going to listen to every track that's posted - but I'll do my best!
That's a classic JLL track, Tony, which I enjoyed.
I've got the Dylan Owen track playing in another tab (so that it doesn't get cut off when I click on 'Answer Now') as I type this. My impression is that he's an impressive poet but not necessarily a great musician!
I'll try to catch up with anything else posted here shortly.
F-F: I'm probably just showing how out of touch with yoof culture I really am ;-)
Captain2:
Ace Of Spades is one of those songs that I couldn't hear in my head from simply reading the title but now having it play in my headphones reminds me of what a great track it is (and certainly one that fits well in a 'wake everyone up' thread). I'm instantly transported back to the days of the Old Grey Whistle Test!
Buenchico- one of the good things about teaching (among all the many frustrating and worrying things) is that you can't help but keep in touch with music, games and other interests of young people. I've always liked music and am probably one of very few 60 year olds who knows almost all current chart singles as a result of osmosis, My knowledge of the game Fortnite is a bit lacking though- I can't do all the dances for example
Well I suppose that someone has to like Twenty One Pilots, Mamya ;-)
(It certainly isn't me!)
Thanks for your post, Tony. There's never anything wrong with a bit of Little Richard! (However I'd never noticed the similarity between him and Prince before! http://www.barbarapijan.com/bpa/DramaSong/Prince_1.jpg )

That reminds me of what I once wrote on a pupil's report:
"If she could spend just a small amount of the time that she currently spends on thinking about New Kids on the Block on thinking about mathematics instead, we might make some progress. Until then, all hope is lost"
;-)
