And good on them. All we see in the UK is the likelihood of open arms, a council house and benefits. At least the Iraqi juciciary are not buying the sob stories like the West tends to do.

These women are as dangerous as their extremist husbands and of no use to the World. They must not be allowed to continue spreading their vile interpretation of their religion.

As the article notes, several of the women to be executed have claimed they were effectively duped into coming to Iraq. Clearly, this is something that they would say anyway.

On the other hand, is it really so unreasonable that at least *some* of the "ISIS brides" were, one way or another, tricked into being such? I'm put in mind of a case that you also drew our attention to:

Before you point it out to me -- yes, I'm aware that the girl in that case was 13, but still, there are potential parallels. It therefore strikes me as inconsistent, to say the least, to have no regard whatsoever for this possibility in the case of "ISIS brides".

I also don't support capital punishment, especially when it's on such a large scale, and especially when it will leave so many children as orphans. I wonder what plans Iraq has for them.
They were arrested in Iraq so they can be tried there, it is up to the Iraqi judiciary to decide what to do with them.
Not many answers.
Don't agree with capital punishment but do think 'when in Rome'.
'They must not be allowed to continue spreading their vile interpretation of their religion.'
Interpretation?
It is a vile 'religion', imo.
'I am a victim too'. Here we go again. Quando Romae &c...

The sight of these women swinging from the gallows might just be enough to deter others.
