Meghan Markle has outlined her feminist credentials and declared her commitment to gender equality. Is t right that a member of the British royal family - who’ve traditionally stayed right out of such issues - should be allowed to take such a stance? Have the senior royals made a huge error in allowing her such freedom so early on in her royal life? Are they fearful of saying no to her already, in a similar way to political correctness strongly affecting the U.K. as a whole? Is this the direction the monarchy - who are unelected, let’s not forget - should be heading in?

Is there not room to discuss ALL of it though in time? I am happy to have a rant about feminism one day, racial inequality another and discrimination against people's sexuality another, sure the MORE things we discuss the better, including feminism?

I would massively disagree with the you thinking I've been 'raised wrong' and nowhere have I ever said I was taught that women are less equal than men, where did you get that from?
//I think you've been raised wrong if you think females are less equal to an other human.//

I was raised to think that I was as equal as any man - unfortunately there are still some in society and business that do not agree - hence the wage difference.

Your sarcastic manner is a tad annoying!
I have spent 20 years working in a very male led job and have fought tooth and nail to get where I am today and to prove that I could carry out the job as well as any femail!

Spath it's what some other people think and implement as Islay said. It can be serious things like work situations or something as trivial as happened recently when I went to move my friend's motorbike for him (because he'd asked me to) and some randomer came up and said ' Oh what are you trying to do honey, shall I do that for you?'
Err no jog on mate.
Of course I have had to fight harder than a man - its a male led job and when I started there was one other woman in the team and she was the secretary.
I have had 2 careers in my life and both have been male dominated, so i think I know what I am talking about.

No it's not a generational thing. My friend is 49 and trusted me to move his pride and joy bike for him, the guy who hung onto the handlebar (who I've never spoken to before) until he'd got that that was 'okay' with my friend was about 22. As my friend said to him ' Girls ride bikes dude'. Not generational AT ALL.
Meghan Markle has joined the Royal Family. She should change to suit them, not them to suit her.

She has been bestowed the title of Duchess of Sussex and should act accordingly - with dignity, grace and diplomacy, in keeping with her new relatives.

I will probably be shot down in flames for having an opinion - but regretably I won't be here to see it. Gotta dash.

Lol you want me to give you personal information about myself when you have been very keen to give anything out about yourself.
Aye wise up!
Certainly not generational either
Well Kav one day you might be grateful for a man's physical strength when it comes to moving heavy items. You could have used your feminine wiles and said graciously-- No thank you ,I can manage.
