/// Superintendent Glyn Fernquest said: 'I'd like to just reassure the public that this incident is not believed to be terror related and has no links to the Newport marathon that is taking place this morning. ///

What could it possibly be, a hate crime or a racist incident or just yet another nutter?

Is this the closed thread?
I checked - there was definitely no answer box when AOG put up his bother thread.
Lol.....Well, that one seems to have been removed now....
Obviously mods can now close and reopen threads.
Chris posted about having this ability a few weeks ago.
So I see. Pathetic.
It all seems a bit whimsical...
‘The moderators got a new button to play with at the beginning of last week. I've not used it yet!’

The Ed later confirmed mods now have this ‘power’.
A Button pressed in error - could have been a lot worse!
I hope the injured recover, two sound very serious indeed.
Coulda sworn that people used to complain about threads being deleted, because "maybe it was bad but it's still useful to have the sensible posts readable by all." Now the threads that turn sour get closed and people *still* moan.
I suppose it depends upon whether you are one of the ones contributing to the 'argy-bargy'. Jim. :o)
One can only imagine that the crime has been investigated and that the initial investigation has led the police to surmise that this is not a terror related incident.
Which mod is being accused of shutting and opening this thread?
No idea, but it didn't take long for AOG to know whom to accuse. Guess you could call it an open-and-shut case.
The usual one, Islay :-)
Jim thanks its just it appears that the usual suspect (according to AOG) has not been online for a few days!
Perhaps the more important question is - will it return to discussing the incident in the OP and all that surrounds it?
Thought so Ummmm but unless there are 2 of them he does not appear to have been online for a few days
Well Mamya I have responded to the OP but I doubt it will matter - the thread should never have been reopened. imo.
