It conjures pictures of people meeting in dark places and having some sort of idea what, collectively, they’re doing (which is patently not the case). how would you describe an attempt to disrupt a system which was working perfectly well and potentially affects our world standing both politically and financially?

No one seems to be able to point out what the practical benefits of such actions will be, other than to mumble unfounded, speculative garbage about swapping one imperfect set of leaders for another.
