Had it been two British subjects who had had a acid type substance throw into their faces, I don't think it would set off an international incident.

I think we said we'd respond appropriately and robustly, and want to have a serious talk with the man that we know did it, should he ever return to the UK - which he won't, having been made an MP and national hero in Russia.
